Hi, I’m Diana.
I am the founder of Designers for Humanity, an education platform that helps people use their unique skills, knowledge and experience to create initiatives for social good. I am also the Head of Industrial Design & Product Strategy at Shake Your Power, a social enterprise that creates education and clean tech products through music. I graduated from the Royal College of Art in Design Products and I am a fellow at the RSA.
I am currently a visiting tutor at Nottingham Trent University for Product Design & Furniture.
I like to write about designing for social good, about launching products and manufacturing them, about the challenges of starting a business, about mindset and other insights I have learned along the way.
There is a new paradigm, where self interest is being replaced by a broader view of our role as humans on this earth. I believe that as creatives, designers, artists and storytellers we must help this new reality come about. By using what makes us unique (our skills, knowledge and experiences) we can contribute to making our tiny planet a home for us all as well as for all sentient beings. As guardians of this earth, we must ensure our presence here is a nourishing and empowering one.
